The retaining wall is built....and actually retaining dirt

So after a month or so, the wall is finally complete. The wall would have been done sooner but I underestimated how much dirt it would take to back fill the wall. So 65 cubic yards (1800 sq ft.)of dirt later...we have the groundwork of the new yard. It really is crazy how different the yard looks with all the new space. I'm getting really excited for when it's all finished. Should be able to start fencing soon and the yard will really start to take shape. Then it's onto deck/patios. Goal is to finish by the end of the year.

Also the wall survived it's first earthquake last night...a sizeable 5.7 quake.
