So finally getting to do an update. We figured out or courtyard design earlier this week by laying out string. We had all these curves to contrast the right angles all over the house and fence. We were trying to be less modern (which is hard for me). Then after looking at it for a few days we though to try doing something more modern with right angles and we loved it way more. Above you can see a quick mock up of the layout we are thinking of. We want to do a stone pathway with floating stepstones as the path/area between the 2 patios we are having. We will have an arbor for shade and some grass in the front. We were unsure on the rock pathway and stepstone idea so we went to RCP block and got just a few to mock it up for the walkway to the courtyard. I just got done and I think it turned out prety nice. So now that we are set on that idea, we just need to wait for the patios to be poured and then its time to put down about 100 more stepstone.

I also finished up the remaining blocks we had making the terraced area by the big tree and huge rocks. I started the second level and got it to die into the wall. Now just need to go get about 3 more pallettes of block and then we can finish that up. Goal is to be done with the yard and enjoying some drinks in a few months.
